Revisiting Ramona is the feature-length documentary debut by writer and journalist Lawrence Burney about the East Baltimore neighborhood of his youth. Artistically motivated by friend and neighbor Ellis Marsalis III’s photo-poetry book Tha Bloc: Words, Photographs and Baltimore City in Black White and Gray (2004), the film is a cinematic portrait of a Baltimore community’s past, present, and future.
